We’ve been pretty busy here over the last few months, here’s what we’ve been up to….
Back in December, we had our first ever Christmas Concert which raised over £500. The Gangshow choir performed a selection of carols and songs to a crowd of over 200, and groups from the districts provided their own items and sketches. Thank you to 1st Purton & Lydiard Scouts, 17th Swindon Scouts, Cynric Explorers, Ascalon Network and 1st Blunsdon Brownies!
We had a fundraising social at the Bengal Square curry house back in February. For that evening, we received a cut of the money taken orders in the restaurant and via takeaway. It was great to see so many cast and friends of the show enjoying the food and chance to catch up. The event raised £241 towards our next production. A huge thank you to Marie, one of our cast and member of the fundraising team for arranging the event!
Also in February, we had a bowling night arranged by Denise, another member of our fundraising team. Attendance was slightly hampered by the beast from the east, but those that made it had a great night and we raised £150!
The production team has braved the snow earlier this week to have the first production meeting for the 2018 show. Look out for more information later in March!
